The Austrian Consumers\u2019 Association awarded it with the top prize for best value for money for families. Gault Millau honoured the Adler Lounge at the Cimaross Peak with a coveted toque in 2011. Walter Hartweger manages the Adlerlounge as leaseholder, mountain hut landlord and chef \u2013 with the unswerving support of his Katharina. The events and overnight stays are legendary, in suites designed in contemporary alpine flair and face to face with the mighty Gro\u00dfglockner and another 60 three thousand peaks belonging to the Hohen Tauern.<\/p>\n

\"Wintersport,<\/a>At 11.3 kilometres, the Osttirol downhill run from Cimaross to Matrei is the longest in East Tyrol. Piste freaks can enjoy a taste of what is to come on the Blauspitz Downhill and the Goldriedsee-Variant. 90 per cent of the pistes including all three downhill valley runs have artificial snow makers that can be used on demand. Dedicated to sustainability and quality, the new Gradonna****S Mountain Resort Ch\u00e2lets & Hotel is located next to the downhill run to Kals at 1,350 metres altitude. This four star superior hotel with 3.000 m2 spa facilities and the 42 ch\u00e2lets, each with their own private spa area, have all been carefully constructed using wood. The new resort will be car-free, with reserved, underground parking for every room and chalet.<\/p>\n
